When did you start dancing? My mom took me to a "movement class" when I was 3, where I learned to do things like curl up like a seashell and move across the room mimicking various jungle animals. I think that's what started my dancing career.
As for social dance, I got hooked during my first week of undergrad new student orientation. Richard Powers put on a swing workshop one fateful night, and I haven't stopped social dancing since.
What is your favorite style of dance? Waltz, wholeheartedly.
What do you do when you're not dancing? playing some piano improv, singing in solfege, listening to musical soundtracks and Disney.
Anything else? I like mixing jam.
